Migration to a new core banking system
Our developers joined the bank’s larger internal development team to help them migrate their current system to a new core banking system Temenos T24 which offers a much wider set of functionalities across retail, corporate, treasury, wealth and payments.
Migrating the entire core banking system
- Includes the migration of clients of an older bank before a merger
- In the future, all bank’s clients will be moved to the new core system
- Requires a complete reintegration of all services, the conversion of these services from SOAP to REST
- Solving various performance problems
- Using a new authorization framework according to the OAUTH2 standard
- Rebuilding Redis caching
- Doing code reviews
- Creating technical proposals for changes and new functionalities including time estimations
